Of White Ashes by Constance Hays Matsumoto and Kent Matsumoto

How is your May 1st? Do you have any May Day traditions? I used to pick wildflowers as a kid and give them to people. We woke up to snow today in Northeast Wisconsin, which makes for a strange May Day.

I am very excited to read Of White Ashes by Constance Hays Matsumoto and Kent Matsumoto this month. It sounds like a riveting new historical fiction novel. It is being published today, May 1st.

Book Synopsis

Inspired by the true stories of the authors’ family, Of White Ashes crosses oceans and cultures, illuminating the remarkable lives of two Japanese Americans who endure seemingly unbearable hardship during World War II. Their experiences compel us to reflect on the resilience of humanity and the risk of history repeating.

What do you think about Of White Ashes by Constance Hays Matsumoto and Kent Matsumoto?
